Council Minutes

Because of the sheer volume of text, only the minutes of current meetings of Council are displayed on the website.  A full set of Parish Council minutes, going back to almost to dawn of time, is held either in the Parish Office or in the WSCC archive at Chichester.

The Minutes of Parish Council Meetings become legal documents once they have been agreed and signed as a correct record.  This generally happens at the next meeting of the Committee.  Some of the Minutes available here may be in draft form, not having yet been agreed or signed.

In addition to the Parish Council, there are several Committees, these collectively deal with the various undertakings and responsibilities of the Council.

The Minutes are not a verbatim report of what happened, but are the Clerk's record of decisions made on the matters discussed.  To get the full flavour of what goes on you may is you wish attend the meetings yourself.

Members of the public are welcome to observe any meeting of the Council or its Committees (unless the business is deemed to be confidential).

All Meetings start at 7.30 p.m. in the Council Building unless stated otherwise
