Local Walks

Hassocks Parish Council organises two walks a year in the surrounding countryside.    Some are along field paths in the Low Weald area, and others climb the South Downs to Jack and Jill Windmills and the South Downs Way.    
 
The walks are advertised locally, and are also featured in the West Sussex County Council booklet Exploring West Sussex which is available from local Libraries and Help Points.    The walks are normally led by Councillor Leslie Campbell, and he is assisted by another Councillor.
